athena the goddess of wisdom
Well, he has a HUGE impact on people who had a fishing profession. He was supposed to be the guardian of the seas, so sailors and fisherman prayed and worshipped him. He also had an affect on the Romans, who hated to sail across the oceans, so they despised poseidon. So he mostly had an affect on fisherman and sailors, or soldiers going on a voyage. I hoped this helped! :)

Sailors in ancient Greece were often afraid of Poseidon, the god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses. He was known for his temperamental nature and could unleash storms and tempests that would threaten ships and their crews. To appease him, sailors would offer sacrifices and prayers before embarking on their voyages, hoping for calm waters and safe passage.
Poseidon is the Greek god of the oceans. Sailors prayed to him before traveling, and he is considered the second powerful of all gods.
