In Greek Mythology, Pegasus was a winged horse. After dropping Bellerophon, he flew up to Mount Olympus. Zeus eventually placed him in the sky to become a constellation.

Pegasus did not hold Zeus' thunderbolts, only Zeus was allowed to do this.
