i think the greeks were thought of as powerful because they were the first to have gods and godesses in form of a human unlike the egyptians, they had gods with animal body parts. Also they thought humans were beautiful when they were strong and fast so many "worked out". they even had their own version of the olympic games. ( remember this is a guess sorry if i'm wrong )
