Which ancient African civilization was the first to practice slavery?

I believe that the difference between Africans and many others is that Africans did NOT make nor keep RECORDS about what they did that was derogatory. Too many people on the planet today are probably falling right into the trap of thinking that the only way to "verify" history is by WRITTEN HISTORICAL ACCOUNTS. You'd might be falling for what some or many Africans WISH YOU WOULD. Because if you ONLY WENT by WRITTEN and ALLEGED Historical Accounts it might seem that in Africa there was NO EVIDENCE of THEM ever having Slaved ANYBODY (till moder day media CAUGHT IN FILM). But today...we still see what some accounts were, BUT WRITTEN BY NON AFRICANS about what was observed. A culter of Murder, Rape and Take (in some areas). Not saying all of Africa is that way, but look at the societies that are yet today living the paradigm of Murder Rape and Take. Where slavery is continued to be practiced. Of course, if you listened to some of their PROPAGANDA...you might hear the story, yeah, but we would never have did that IF somebody ELSE wouldn't have did that to us and made that society that way. Way I heard it was the OTHER WAY AROUND. That a Modern, Sophisticated, and Civilized Society had been built by Non Africans in Egypt, but that Africans raided it several times and eventually might have finally taken it over...after which it might have fallen QUICKLY. That it wasn't sustainable after that. That AFTER THAT... Non Africans, after what Africans did to them...got the idea to pay them back and take THEM as slaves to work to make up, in part, for what THEY DID to others. Not the other way around. Isn't that something? From the culture that might have been the ORIGINATORS of Slavery...yet (I'm definitely not meaning all), but gripe about it the most. Especially IF the world bases what it believes MOSTLY on WRITTEN DOCUMENTS. If they NEVER practiced to DOCUMENT what THEY did that was wrong... then here we are today... them with Text Books alleging THEY were slaves... and yet if they have NONE (to say that THEY WERE THE FIRST to impliment Slavery)... if you only go by WRITTEN ACCOUNTS it already IS a sad sad day to think that THEY DID THAT, and FIRST, then IT WAS TURNED AROUND and it made out to be as if they never did it to anybody, but that it was done as if MOSTLY TO THEM. For years some people believed ONLY TO THEM. However a lot of data has surfaced and allegedly there were many whites here in the country that were slaves to. Only it was under the name debt bondage or endentured, etc. As a matter fact, allegedly the FIRST CASE of an attempt to have a LEGAL SLAVE in the country was presented by an AFRICAN AMERICAN who allegedly wanted an African to be his slave for LIFE. Not untypical, that the African man allegedly BEGGED to be let to go work and live with a White family instead. But the alleged first known case in the country pertaining to slavery was by African American who wanted to argue that he should be able to KEEP the African that he slaved for duration that he lived. Wikpedia.com Don't be fooled by African American Propaganda ever again.

Abraham Lincoln emancipated the African Americans because?

Because he had an urgent need to keep the British from intervening on the side of the Confederates. If he officially turned the war into a crusade against slavery, the British could not intervene without looking pro-slavery in the eyes of the world. (The British had, of course, abolished slavery years earlier.)

Were there black Indians?

Of course there were and still are "Black Indians," that is people of African and American Indian heritage. This combination has been with us since the time of the Spanish in Florida and was accelerated by the practice of slavery by certain American Indian tribes in the south. It is estimated that 80% of African-Americans have Indian heritage.
