Aeneas is a complex character who symbolizes the connection which the poet, Vergil, wishes to draw between ancient Troy and imperial Rome. His voyage comprises the first six books of the Aeneid and is Vergil's version of Homer's Odyssey. The Trojans' voyage lasts ten years, which time includes the building of the navy and the time in Carthage, both of which are lengthy. The ten years of transiency connects Aeneas symbolically to Odysseus, though the two characters differ in that, whereas Odysseus is traveling home (his past), Aeneas is traveling into the unknown (his future). Thus, the two narratives differ in that Aeneas cannot remember where he is going (to a country he has never visited, for a wife he does not know and a city he will not found), while Odysseus is recalling his way home to wife and country.
Legendary Roman hero, theRomans traced their history back to Aeneas and Aeneas was a Trojan hero who left Troy after the Trojan War , eventually settling in Italy
They were taken home as slaves by their conquerors, or sold locally and the proceeds distributed. There is a 1st Century BCE story (a thousand years later) that Aeneas was able to flee Troy as it was being sacked, along with a small group of people (in the movie Troy, at the end you see Aeneas with his father on his back, getting out the back gate - setting up the sequel - wait for it). His progeny were supposedly responsible for the founding of Rome. Read The Aeneid. Julius Caesar claimed descent from Aeneas, and therefore descent from Venus who was Aeneas' mother.
When the Greeks enter Troy (as a result of Ulysses' Wooden Horse trick) Aeneas at first attempts to organise a commando to repel the invaders. But Hector (now dead) appears to Aeneas in a vision. Hector tells Aeneas that Troy must fall, and that Aeneas' role is to escape with his family and found a 'new Troy' (Rome) in Italy. So Aeneas goes back to his mansion and collects his family (his father Anchises, his wife Creusa, and his son Ascanius). Aeneas then attempt to lead this small family group through the burning ruins of Troy to the beach (where they will later give the Greek armies the slip and sail away in twenty salvaged ships). But while walking through the burning town. Aeneas loses touch with Creusa - and she dies in the flames. Creusa later appears to Aeneas in a vision. She tells him to continue his quest to Italy where he will found a great empire.
First and foremost, Juno hates Aeneas because he is a Trojan. The Trojan War began with the Judgement of Paris. Paris, a Trojan prince determined that Venus was the best goddess of all over Pallas Athena and Juno. Venus rewarded Paris with the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen, a Greek princess. Well, Helen's husband invaded Troy to get his wife back. The gods chose sides in the war, and Juno was on the side of the Greeks. Juno also hates Aeneas because he is the hero that will defeat her kingdom. Juno loves Queen Dido and her kingdom of Carthage, but Fate foretells that Aeneas will come and create an empire that will defeat Carthage. Juno tries to keep Aeneas away from Italy, but in the end surrenders to Fate and helps Aeneas in his quest.

Positively charged ions like sodium (Na+) and potassium (K+) can cross back and forth across the neuron cell membrane through ion channels. These ions play a significant role in generating and propagating action potentials in neurons.
