Cleopatra ruled from 51 B.C to 30 B.C..so from age 18 to age 39 or 40..and she killed herself with a snake (asp snake or Egyptian Cobra if you preffer) to the chest because Augustus Ceasar, (or Octavian) was about to capture her and her lover Marc Antony after the "Civil war" in 31 B.C. We will probably never know exactly why, but it could be because Marc Antony had stabbed himself with a sword, by throwing himself on it, and died in her arms. They both are buried together supposedly in Tabusirius Magna. She was born 69 B.C.A. and died 30 B.C.A.
