Polyphemus (the cyclops) ate four men total, 2 the first and 2 the second.
Odysseus escaped the Cyclops by offering him wine to drink. The Cyclops got drunk and passed out and Odysseus and his men then fled.
They got trapped in a cave and many of them were eaten until Odysseus worked out a way to escape.
His curiosity got the better of him.
Odysseus got out of the Cyclops gave in three easy steps: 1. he got the cyclops drunk which caused him to pass out 2. He stabbed the Cyclops in the eye so he was blinded 3. Him along with the members or his crew hid underneath sheep and escaped with out the cyclops knowledge Note: the Cyclops was an avid Shepard and was going to let his sheep out no matter what because it was part of his daily routine which he always followed.
Odysseus and his men blinded Polyphemus, but did not kill him. Odysseus and his men got Polyphemus (the cyclops) drunk on wine and while he was asleep they blinded him by poking him in the eye with a stick and then escaped by holding on underneath the sheep when he let them out of the cave to graze.

Odysseus tricked the cyclops by befriending him they got him drunk... when polyphemus (the cyclops) fell asleep the were able to stab him in the eyem making it a bit easier to escape seeing as they were never not prisoners. The nobody part was ... he told the cyclops (whom isn't very bright) that his name was nobody so when polyphemus got stabbed he screams " nobody stabbed my eye!" this is how odysseus tricked polyphemus the cyclops
Not a good one - blinded by Odysseus, Polyphemus asked his father, the god of the sea Poseidon, for vengeance. Poseidon fixed things so that he spent 10 hazardous years wandering the sea before he got back to his kingdom of Ithaca.Another take:The present or 'gift' that the Cyclops promises Odysseus is to eat Odysseus's crew first, and save Odysseus for last.Answer 3:A ram that he later uses for sacrifice in the underworld.

I thought this was a stupid decision. Odysseus knew what the cyclops could do to him. He also knew that he had really ticked off the cyclops. By taunting him from his ship, he just made him more upset and almost killed his crew, as well as himself. Also by doing this, he got himself cursed by Posiden. I hope this helped!
This depends on which men you are talking about. Most of the men Odysseus kills, he kills in war against the Trojans. Odysseus kills many fellow Ithacans for wooing his wife Penelope. There are also many men that Odysseus 'sacrifices', such as the 6 men he loses to Scylla.

they got cyclops drunk so he can fall asleep so they can break free. but i guess it didnt work so what they did is got a big stick and stab him in the eye.
The Cyclops that Odysseus blinded was the son of Poseidon. The God of the sea. He asked his father to kill Odysseus or do what ever he can to keep him from sailing home. When Odysseus landed on the cyclops island he went inside the cave and fed on cheese and sheep. The cyclops came back to the cave and closed the rock doorway, The cyclops turned around and ate one of Odysseus's' men. Odysseus offered him wine, because it was the drink of the gods. Cyclops took a bowl of wine and slurped it up. He was then drunk,Odysseus took a sword and stabbed the cyclops in his one and only eye. Odysseus used him when he was drunk to move the large boulder out of the doorway. Odysseus and his men escaped from the cave by hanging onto the sheep. The men were off freely without the cyclops knowing. Until, Odysseus had to show off and say something to the cyclops. The cyclops got angry and started to throw rocks at the crew and ship. Luckily, the crew was Abel to get away not touched.
his ship got distroyed on the rocks
