Depends. Becuz in Ancient Greece thre were "city-states" such as the Athens or Spartans. Each city-state had different ways of schooling. For example, in the Athens, girls didn't go to school, they were home schooled. they learned to read and write there. Boys went to school at about the age 6 or 7.
