Easter, is a festival worshipping false gods. It is based on the god Astarte, god of fertility. Who ever heard of rabbits laying eggs? Yes rabbits depict fertility, as do the eggs used for Easter Holiday.
This celebration was for the god of fertility - Astarte!
There is one festival honoring gods that we still do today but claim it is for Jesus.

The Romans had festivals to celebrate and to get a break from the daily routine. The most important reason for a lavish festival, however, was to honor some god or goddess. Poets were invited to bring the first tragedies in the fifth century BC in Greece to be performed as part of festivals honoring Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and fertility. These tragic performances were held as part of the annual City Dionysia festival in Athens. The poets would compete in the dramatic competition and present their plays to the audience.
