The Aztecs had a well-trained army that utilized effective tactics and weaponry, allowing them to conquer neighboring territories. Additionally, they formed alliances with other city-states, which expanded their influence and resources. Lastly, their agricultural practices, including the development of chinampas (floating gardens), enabled them to sustain a growing population and support their empire's expansion.
