∙ 8y agoYou didn't tell us which explorer you are curious about, but some famous explorers are Christopher Columbus (he reached the "New World," sailing across the Atlantic Ocean to North America); Henry Hudson (who tried to reach China, but ending up established a colony in what is today New York); Marco Polo (he explored the Asian continent); and Ferdinand Magellan (first to circumnavigate the globe, and discovered what is today the Philippines).
