Best Answer

Without a doubt Ramesses' greatest monument is the huge temple carved from the natural sandstone rock at Abu Simbel, far to the south in Nubia. He added to the great temples at Karnak and Luxor, and completed his father Seti's mortuary temple at Thebes. On the west bank of Thebes he constructed the giant mortuary temple, the Ramesseum of which 3000 workmen were employed to build.
