Hi I'm a fellow Trow and got bored during a English lesson so pulled out my iPhone and typed it in, i found that the origin is of a man called Ralph Truwe. This was dated 1185, in the register of the Knight Templars (Crusaders) of Kent", during the reign of King Henry 11. He was the first to have our second name. Secondly the spelling was derived from a town called Trowbridge, 'trow' meaning depression or hollow of land in Latin. Hope this helped :)
