She is the goddess of love and beauty. Aphrodite took a part in the Trojan War, as one of the three goddesses that wanted the golden apple (which was for the "fairest") from Paris. Both Athena and Hera also wanted the golden apple, but Paris gave it to Aphrodite after she promised him the most beautiful woman, Helen of Troy. This soon started the Trojan War.

Hector was King Priam's eldest son, and was the commander in chief of the Trojan forces. Hector was the best warrior on the Trojan side.
Eris, the goddess of discord, creates the golden apple to instigate conflict among the goddesses at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. Inscribed with "To the fairest," the apple serves as a catalyst for a beauty contest between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. This competition ultimately leads to the Trojan War, highlighting Eris's role in sowing discord among both gods and mortals.

You mean, "how are they similar"? Primarily in the role of the Apple in both stories. Snow White is famously lured into eating the Poisoned Apple offered by the Evil Queen, which would cause her own demise. Similarly, Paris' decision to award a "Golden Apple of Discord" to Aphrodite, goddess of beauty, would ultimately cause his own demise, as well as that as his home city of Troy. Interestingly, this Golden Apple was instructed to be given "To The Fairest," just as the Evil Queen gives the poisoned apple to Snow White, whom the Magic Mirror has declared to be "The Fairest One Of All."
Eris, the goddess of discord, threw a golden apple labeled "For the Fairest" into the wedding of Peleus and Thetis to instigate conflict among the goddesses. This act led to a competition between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite, each claiming the apple for herself. The dispute ultimately resulted in the Judgment of Paris, which set off a chain of events culminating in the Trojan War. Eris's action epitomized her role as a bringer of chaos and strife among both mortals and deities.
She was pictured as the perfect wife of Hector. Otherwise she had no part in it. She's a woman.
