Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire and craftsmanship, was thrown from Mount Olympus by his mother, Hera. According to mythology, Hera cast him out due to his perceived weakness and deformity at birth. He fell for an entire day before landing on the island of Lemnos, where he was cared for by the Sintians, a tribe of people who lived there. This event shaped Hephaestus's character and his eventual role as the blacksmith of the gods.

zues was the father of hephaestus
Hephaestus never died.
Hephaestus's mom was Hera
His leg is hurt forever from falling out of Mount Olympus
Winehis weakness is that he cant handle his liquor and can be crafty and vindictive
Yes he does.In one of the myths about Hephaestus, he drinks too much wine offered by Dionysus, gets so drunk that he has to be carried over the back of a mule. So you could say he has a weakness for wine!
In my opinion, Hera's weakness is her husband, Zeus. Whenever he cheated on her, Hera would either have revenge on her husband's mistress or she would do something else but as bad as having revenge. Although, Hera's sacred animals (peacocks and cows), too, could be a weakness. BUT, Hera's biggest ever weakness must be Hephaestus. Since Hera is the Goddess of Marriage and Childbirth (there are a lot of Goddesses of Childbirth), her biggest weakness must be to have an ugly child. Hera either has a perfect family or she will be pissed. Hephaestus was ugly so Hera threw him out of Olympus, that's why he was a cripple.

Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire and craftsmanship, was disfigured due to being thrown from Mount Olympus by his mother, Hera, or, in some versions, by Zeus. This act was a result of his perceived weakness or deformity, as he was born with a physical disability. The fall left him with a limp and a misshapen body, which contrasted with his exceptional skills in metalworking and craftsmanship. Despite his disfigurement, Hephaestus was revered for his talents and creativity.
