During the Renaissance, artists like Leonardo da Vinci wanted to make more realistic art. To do this, they used human anatomy to see how systems (like muscles) worked. When scientists saw how these systems worked, they were able to help make medical advancements. Drawings also helped to better show and explain medical finding.
