Well, Dionysus was a wild party-er, of course. He kept an entourage of drunken satyrs and men. Also, he was a brilliant military leader. Gave harsh punishments to those who opposed him, though that is anything but uncommon in Greek Gods. For example, as Dionysus was coming to the Euphrates, the King of Damascus went against him, and Dionysus flayed him alive. Dionysus now sits at Olympus as one of the Twelve (he took the seat of the Goddess Hestia, who felt no desire to stay and deal with the jealous fights between her family).
