Zeus's father, Kronos, or Cronus, as the Romans called him, was one of the first Titans. He imprisoned the Cyclopes and the hundred headed monsters that were his brothers and Gaea sought help from Kronos's children. She knew one was destined to dethrone Kronos, so their was a terrible battle between the Titans and the Olympians. Two of the Titans helped Zeus, and one was Prometheus, but I cannot remember the other Titan.
