The Egytians got the idea from the rays of the sun.

The ancient egyptians made pyramids to house kings and queens' tombs. The pyramids were the rulers' final resting place. (PS-I am fairly sure this is correct, however, if you are talking about the Ancient Egyptians look up the Great Pyramids of giza).
The idea to invent the pyramids in ancient Egypt stemmed from a combination of religious beliefs, cultural practices, and architectural innovation. The pyramids served as grand tombs for pharaohs, reflecting their divine status and the Egyptians' belief in the afterlife. The pyramid's shape, symbolizing the rays of the sun, was intended to help the deceased ascend to the heavens. Over time, the need for more elaborate burial structures led to the development of the iconic pyramid design.
The ancient Egyptians were the first culture to create Pyramids. The "Great" Pyramid of Khufu in Giza, Egypt is the largest of their pyramids that is still intact today. Some scientist have a theory on how could of the egyptians made it. They claim that because each block of stone made from the pyramids weigh about 50-70 tons! They also say that if they did make it how do they build it and make it identical to all other pyramids. 50-70 tons is very very heavy so they couldn't have built it and they did not have machines in the past. To add more to it even if they had the machines the machines can't carry that much of a weigh.
It was just a simple idea, then Khufu had an idea to do that because the think that building the pyramids make them go to the heaven.
There are no pyramids on the moon. That is a silly question you f*** b***.
They were built by the pharaohs as their tombs - The Pyramid of Khufu. The Pyramid of Khafre. The Pyramid of Menkaure.

The main idea of the section about pyramids is to explain the history, significance, and construction of pyramids in ancient civilizations. It discusses their use as monumental structures, tombs for pharaohs, and their architectural symbolism in cultures like ancient Egypt. No one "discovered" it, just like no-one "discovered" the sky. Anyone who has the faintest idea where "Giza" is already knows about the pyramids.
