His name was Hatake Sakumo. He was famed as the White fang of the leaf. on an important mission that would change the course of the war for the land of fire, his team had made it across enemy lines and his comrade was in trouble. He decided on saving his comrades over the mission and was miserably put down when they returned to the leaf. Even his comrades he had saved put him down. he became severely depressed and commited suicide. kakashi was heartbroken and from then on until obito told him differently, kakashi followed the rules and regulations strictly.
