Uranus had 18 known children
The Greek goddess Gaea is literally the earth. She is known as "Earth Mother" "Mother Earth" or as we would know her, "Mother Nature". She is one of the original gods in Greek mythology. She came from Chaos and had many children my herself and also with her son Uranus. The main story of Gaea is that Gaea came from Chaos, Gaea gave birth to Uranus, from Uranus and Gaea can the titans, cyclops, and the hecatoncheires. Uranus then locked his children in the underworld but then Cronus, the youngest of the titans, went with Gaea and castrated Uranus and from Uranus' genitals that were thrown into the sea came Aphrodite. When Cronus did this to his father, Uranus said that one of Cronus' sons would overthrow him so when Cronus and his sister Rhea had children he swallowed all of them until his sixth child whom Rhea hid and swaddled a stone in cloth so Cronus ate it. That sixth child was Zeus. Zeus and Rhea gave Cronus something which caused him to throw up the rest of his children. They were not dead because they were Gods. Zeus then overthrew his father.

In Greek mythology, the gods/goddesses were the children of Gaia(mother earth) and Uranus(the sky).
In Greek Mythology, Uranus is known to only be the offspring of Gaia and the father of her children. One could look at this as Gaia being both father and mother to Uranus, or Uranus not having a paternal parent.
Uranus is said to be the father to around 30 children from Greek mythology. Some of these were Aphrodite and the three Furies. See the related link below for a listing.
