The New Orleans Greek Festival was started by the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in 1972. It was established to celebrate Greek culture and heritage, as well as to share traditional Greek food, music, and dance with the local community. Over the years, it has grown into a beloved annual event, attracting thousands of visitors.
