Hephaestus is the Greek god of fire, metalworking, and craftsmanship. He is often depicted as a skilled blacksmith and is associated with the creation of weapons and armor for the gods and heroes. Unlike other Olympian gods, Hephaestus was known for his physical imperfections and was often portrayed as lame. He is the son of Zeus and Hera and is married to Aphrodite, the goddess of love.
