  • The Aztec's Enviorment:

The Aztecs were Native Americans who lived in the Valley of Mexico. They lived in a city called Tenochtitlan. This city was surrounded by two of Mexico's highest mountains. They lived on the water.

The Aztec's Food and Water:

The Aztecs got their water from mountain springs.

Their food was either grown or it was hunted. Some of the crops were beans, avocado, squash, sweet patatoes, etc. Some of the things that were hunted were dog, duck, turkey, etc.

Why they lived on the Water:

The Aztecs lived on the water for protection from predators. When I first learned this my thought was: "How do they grow their crops?" The answer is, is that they piled up mud and dirt to make fertile soil to grow. It worked for them.

That's all I know for now. Look for diffrent websites for more information. Or, use this one. I hope you got as much as you could with this!
