Who were Cleopatras friends?

One of her friends is Olympus and I think her other friends were Theophilus and Julia Caesar

Very few names of Cleopatra's friends have come down to us. As stated above, Olympus is a name associated with her, as he was her personal physician, but exactly how much of a "friend" he was is open to debate. Theophilus is a name not associated with Cleopatra in any historical work. He seems to be a person of fiction. She did have at least two good friends. One was a man called Archibios, who paid Octavian a sum of 2000 talents not to destroy Cleopatra's statues in Alexandria. Another friend of note is Alexandria, the mother-in-law of Herod. Oh, and she had a friendship of sorts with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.

*I'd like to add that the friendship between Julius and cleopatra was rather strong, well it should have been i mean after all he did help her regain power and she lived with him and she had a son by him! i.j.s.

Very few of Cleopatra's friends' names have drifted down to us. She had many Roman flatterers, but they could hardly be considered friends as they were only out to profit from her friendship. The one woman that we know about is Herod's mother-in-law, Alexandria. The other names who are associated with Cleopatra are either slaves or servants. Of course, this excludes Antony and Caesar.

None of the inner circle of friends that Cleopatra may have had has come down to us. We know that she had a group of friends that formed her Extravagant Livers club and we know that she had Roman business acquaintances. The only name of a friend that we know for certain was Herod's mother-in-law, Alexandria. Of course the above excludes Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.
