Niobe
Depends which god or goddess. For example, Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, was kind enough too give her throne on Mount Olympus to Zeus's son Dionysus, the god of wine, madness, etc. In the meantime, Leto's (she's a titan of fertility) twins killed a Greek woman who had 14 kids (wow) who was boasting that she was better than Leto on Leto's ceremony kind of thing. SO then the twins (Apollo and Artemis by the way) where sent by their mother too kill the 14 children. Supposedly, Artemis killed 7 girls and Apollo 7 boys though there are more versions of this story. So, as you see, it depends on the situation, god/goddess/titan, and the person.

There was no mission named Apollo 6. After the fire killed the crew of Apollo 1, the next manned mission was Apollo 7. All missions between 1 and 7 were hardware test flights and used a different naming convention.
During a test run of the Apollo 1 module, there was an explosion. all three members where killed in the accident. Since th Apollo missions started a tragedy, NASA skipped ahead to Apollo 7, wchich is a lucky number. so,there was no Apollo 3
Apollo 7. Apollo 1 was to have been the first manned mission, but a fire during training killed all three astronauts in the capsule that should have taken them on the first mission.
The first Apollo mission, Apollo 7, was launched on October 11, 1968.
Apollo 7
Apollo 1, but the first Apollo to be launched was Apollo 7, a three man spacecraft.
The Apollo space missions are numbered from Apollo 7 to 17.
No, Apollo 7 did not travel to the moon, its mission was only to test the validity of the spacecraft as it was the first manned launch of the Apollo hardware. Apollo 7 did not leave Earth orbit.
Apollo 7 was launched to test the Command Module, with crew on board, in space.
The first manned Apollo mission was Apollo 7, launched on October 11, 1968.
Apollo 7 was the first manned mission. Apollos 4 and 6 were unmanned tests of the large Saturn V moon rocket. Apollo 5 was an unmanned test of the first Apollo Lunar Module on a smaller Saturn IB rocket; it carried no command and service module. Two unmanned tests of a smaller Saturn launch vehicle, the Saturn I, are sometimes known as Apollo 2 and 3. The name "Apollo 1" was given to the crew of Grissom, White and Chaffee for the flight that they never got to fly because of the launch pad fire that killed them in January 1967.
