Britain had to finance its army defending the American colonies to hold off the invading French and their Indian allies. They levied taxes to help pay for this, and many of the American colonists didn't want to pay and organised a revolt.
At Hemingbrough, North Yorkshire, Haw lane is discribed as an Ancient Track in the Enclosure Award Book. It lead from a Romano/British enclosure to some Norman Closes, see www.Hemingbroughparishcouncil.co.uk webpage on Parish history. Mr. R Chilvers.
The English word "Lead" seems to be a mistaken description for lead. Since lead can be used to write, pencils made with graphite were also called "lead pencils". The chemical symbol for Lead is Pb which is from the Latin word plumbum.
They sometimes put water in their wineAnswer:As odd as it seems to us today the Romans often added toxic acetate lead to their wine and other foods. The lead was originally added by the use of lead vessels for crushing or processing the grapes (the acids in grape juice would dissolve the lead). This dissolved lead acetate made the wine sweeter. Later they came to add "sugar of lead" (now known as lead acetate) for this same purpose. Burnt bread, or what we ,today call burnt toast, was also used to flavor the wine, in additions to herbs and spices.
Primarily lead, which they also used in their make-up and to fortify their wine. Which partially explains why so many of them were batshit crazy.

Wars are expensive so the king needed to pay for his war. Since it was also fought in the colonies the reasoning was the colonies needed to help pay for it so various taxes were levied. This helped lead to the revolution.
The British vs. French and Indian (native American) allies. It was about control of the land in the Ohio River which stretched from minnesota to Louisiana alongside the 13 colonies. The British won but this lead to a massive debt in the country, which led to high taxes in the colonies. This then led to realization of how little representation they have and unequal rights, and the fight for independence, thus leading to the American Revolution.
With the British taxes, the colonies were forced to pay, making them less able to use their extra money to employ/trade with other nations, but they definitely didn't lead to more cooperation. If anything, they led to more upset and turmoil, especially the Townsend Acts and the Quartering Act. But what the British asked wasn't really unreasonable- it just seemed so to the colonies because they had become used to a policy of salutary neglect.

Intolerable acts. After the French and Indian War the British Government decided to reap greaterbenefits from the colonies. The colonies were pressed with greater taxes without any representation in Britain. This eventually lead to the Boston Tea Party. In retaliation the British passed several punitive acts (called the Intolerable Acts) aimed at bringing the colonies back into submission of the King.

Lord Grenville's plan to enforce new taxes included the Stamp Act of 1765, which imposed a tax on all colonial paper materials, and the Townshend Acts of 1767, which imposed duties on imported goods such as glass, lead, paint, and tea in the American colonies. These taxes were intended to help pay Britain's debt from the French and Indian War and to assert British authority over the colonies.
it started to increase tension between colonies and British which lead to the revolutionary war and to independence now.
After the French and Indian War was concluded, British soldiers remained in America, and taxes were imposed on Americans to defer the cost of the war. As the taxes were not exorbitant, I think it was the presence of the British soldiers which made many Americans believe they had become more American than British, and they should be a separate country.
Many colonists fought in the french and Indian war because they wanted to be involved in what was going to be affected in their country. I'm not sure if that's right, but that's probably why.
