One of the theories about how the blocks comprising the pyramids were raised to their levels is four ramps circling the pyramid, rather like a ziggurat. (look it up.) The blocks were pulled up the ramps using sledges and a LOT of manpower. Once the stone blocks were all in place, the ramps were removed as the limestone facing was put on. Finally, when the whole pyramid was built and faced, the ramps were dismantled leaving a major puzzle for archaeologists for many years and a great chance for the UFO-ologists to claim that they were built by "aliens".
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

The first pyramids, built around 2900 BCE, were little more than mudbrick structures built over the burial pits of nobles. These structures protected the body from exposure and also provided a secure place for the personal belongings of the dead noble. The familiar stone pyramids were built from about 2600 BCE and continued for several centuries. The labour appears to have been supplied by Egyptian peasants during the winter season, when there was little farm work to be performed. The early Egyptians had not invented the wheel, but probably used rollers to help move the great stones to the site and up ramps, into position.
The construction of pyramids in ancient Egypt involved a highly organized and labor-intensive process. Large blocks of stone were cut from quarries and transported to the construction site. The blocks were then carefully stacked and positioned, gradually forming the shape of the pyramid. This process required the coordination of thousands of workers, who used ramps, sledges, and levers to move and lift the massive stones.
There are many theories for this question. One is that they used logs to roll them along. Another is that they dragged the blocks on sledges hauled by gangs of slaves There was a archaeological discover recently near the pyramids. They found a half-circle constructed of logs that had space built in the middle of it for a block. they soon realized that two of these put on both sides of the block would make it a wheel, and that, to me, would be the easiest way they could build the pyramids.
i know that the egyptions used a kind of lever-and-log-wheel system to move the blocks of rock up ramps to make pyramids. they used levers to push logs underneath and they rolled the block up the ramp, moving the logs to the front once they come off the back.pretty basic, but its technology
Thousands of workers spent years of hard work to build the pyramids. Farmers did a lot of the work during summer when the Nile River flooded and they could not farm. Surveyors, engineers, carpenters and stonecutters helped to build the pyramids. The first engineer who built pyramids was Imhotep who also served as an official for the pharaoh. The workers searched for stone in places throughout the Nile River valley or in Upper Egypt. After locating the stone artisans used copper tools to cut the stone into huge blocks. The workers used rope to fasten the blocks onto wooden sleds that were pulled along a path made of logs to the Nile River. The stones were then moved onto barges that carried them to the building site. There, the workers unloaded the blocks and dragged or pushed them up ramps to be set in place at each new level of the pyramid. The Egyptians faced many challenges as they built the pyramids, but these challenges, however, led to important discoveries. Each pyramid rested on a square-shaped foundation, with an entrance facing to the north. To find which direction north was the Egyptians studied the skies and developed an understanding of astronomy and with this knowledge, they invented a 365-day calendar with 12 months divided into 3 seasons. This calendar then became the basis for our modern calendar. The Egyptians also made advancements on math. Egypt's pyramid builders had to calculate how much stone was needed to build a pyramid and had to measure angles in order to construct a pyramid's walls. To be able to do this, they invented a system of written numbers based on 10 and and also created fractions, using them with whole numbers to add, subtract, and divide.
By slaves using ropes and ramps.
The wheel was not yet invented when the pyramids were built in ancient Egypt. The construction of the pyramids relied on manpower, ramps, and sledges to move massive stones rather than wheeled vehicles.
Slaves used ropes used ropes and ramps to build the PYRAMIDS , as the stones [building blocks of pyramids] were too heavy to carry with hands or on their backs.
Aztec pyramids were built by layering stones and earth to create stepped structures. Wooden scaffolding and ramps were used to transport materials to the construction site. The stones were typically held together using lime mortar.

ramps
Thy used nails, chisels, mallet, archedian screw, crane, bricks, cement, measurement, plumb line, lever, ramps, saw and that is about it.
They used ramps and ropes tied to sleds.
Lever. Ramps would work also.
They used slaves to drag sledges up ramps to raise and place the stones
Some examples of ramps around the house include wheelchair ramps at the entrances, ramps for strollers or bicycles in garages, and ramps for accessing raised platforms or outdoor areas. These ramps help provide accessibility and convenience for individuals with mobility challenges.
Blocks were most likely transported to the top of pyramids using ramps made of mud, brick, or limestone. Workers would have used sledges and ropes to drag the blocks up these ramps from the quarry to the construction site. It is thought that multiple ramps may have been used to reach higher levels as the pyramid construction progressed.
