Can a 12 year old volunteer at an animal shelter?

Usually you have to start your own I'm 13 and no one will let me volunteer. So I just started my own no kill & no profit animal rescue and I rescue or pick up animals and sometimes I get donations to help pay for the animals food and supply.

I am 13 and I volunteer at animal care. It is a animal shelter but it all depends on where you are from. I volunteered at animal care when I was 12. The only thing is you have to have a parent with you. There is very few animal shelters you can volunteer without a parent or adult with you. But with a parent you can volunteer at a shelter and it is really fun:) I enjoy it very much plus you are helping dogs. I hope you decide to volunteer at animal care:)

It all depends on your local shelter. But most times you need to be a teenager before you can volunteer at most organizations.

I am 12 and I volunteer at the Library, also whatever your religion is, you can volunteer there. I am a Hindu so I volunteer at my temple.
