Only the devil can, if you want to know you have to have a close relationship with the devil....NOT THAT I RECOMMEND IT
Marlow's first impression of the Europeans in the book "Heart of Darkness" was that they were arrogant, greedy, and exploitative. He saw them as imposing their will on the native Africans and using violence to maintain their power and control over the region.
Marlow's diction can be troubling because it is often cryptic and contradictory, veiling unpleasant truths about human nature and the darkness within us. His flowery language can obscure the harsh realities of imperialism and the exploitation of native peoples in "Heart of Darkness," making it difficult to discern the true meaning behind his words. Additionally, Marlow's moral ambiguity and his willingness to participate in the brutalities of colonization can be unsettling for readers seeking a clear moral compass in the narrative.
Krtz sees marlows face which look like a ghost,so he cries horror horror.Peace.
Yes, Marlow's listeners on the Nellie are attentive, albeit with a mix of skepticism and intrigue. They are captivated by his storytelling, which draws them into the complexities of his experiences in the Congo. While they listen intently, their attention is also tinged with a sense of disbelief about the darker truths he reveals. This dynamic underscores the themes of colonialism and human nature that permeate Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness."

There are many websites and resources that offer information on Marlow's Tavern. The best way to get information on Marlow's Tavern is by visiting the Marlow's Tavern website.
The famous Mona Lisa is located at St Marlows Church in Scunthorpe. Previously, a strip club named Naughty Nudes, the building was awarded the painting after it was coverted to a house of god and the priest expressed an interest in the artwork.
you can buy sledges at any good garden centre. marlows do, and a Christmas shop would. The internet should do and if it takes long for delivery look at a shop near you's website. see if they sell them and go in store and buy how ever many you want :) hope this helps
Marlow's interruption by the first narrator creates a sense of disorientation and fragmentation in the storytelling. It emphasizes the complexity of recollection and the layers of narrative, blurring the lines between reality and perception. This technique also reflects the themes of colonialism and the ambiguity of truth, as the first narrator’s perspective adds a layer of critique and distance to Marlow's experiences. Overall, it deepens the reader's engagement with the text and invites them to question the nature of storytelling itself.
The Eldorado exploring expedition contrasts sharply with Marlow's mission on the steamboat by representing a quest driven by greed and the pursuit of wealth, while Marlow's journey is more introspective, focusing on understanding the complexities of colonialism and human nature. The Eldorado expedition embodies the reckless ambition of those seeking riches, often leading to exploitation and destruction, whereas Marlow's mission emphasizes a deeper moral contemplation and the dark realities of imperialism. This juxtaposition highlights the varying motivations behind exploration during the colonial era.
If you aren't familiar with any Malcarran history, type at the top "What is the Melcastor?", "What happened during the capture of Shardan?", "What are the secret evils of Malcarra?", "Why are Omegacom and Calamar so famous in Malcarran history?", or "How did the Last Alliance form?"Shardan is a kingdom and city of the elves in the world of Malcarra. This city had blocked the Northern Conquerors from getting to the Melcastor and releasing the demonic forces of Harowfuge, the Realm of All Ends. The Northern Conquerors were humans of Santeria hoping to find the Melcastor, the key to Harowfuge, but they were trapped by the first king of Shardan, King Arandon, who built the walls of Shardan on the southeastern angle of Norteale, the Realm of the Northern Conquerors. The Norteali were trapped there until they had captured Shardan due to an elven traitor 5,000 years later. They inhabited it for a time but lost it to the elves and their leaders, Calamar and Omegacom. This realm is named after the Ollocronian named Shardan, the Lord of Darkness and Misery. This kingdom is neighbored by Norteale (the Realm of the Northern Conquerors), the Realm of the Nau-Trines, and the Great Water. The Realm of the Nau-Trines is the only kingdom of the continent without an Ollocronian inhabiting it. This makes it the land of the most powerful race on the continent , the Nau-Trines (heavenly beings that originally ruled the southern part of the continent). This kingdom always has 5 queens/kings and is neighbored by Santeria (human realm), Canosh (cursed realm), the Great Water, Harowfuge, and Shardan. This realm formed an alliance with Shardan to destroy the demonic realm of Harowfuge.Harowfuge is known also as the Realm of All Ends. It is ruled by Harowfuge, the Ollocronian outlaw of Malcarra. This kingdom is inhabited by salbantums (normal carnivorous animals, all contributing to creatures of Earth), balators (any creature dealing with the word 'undead'), rolh-tren (lizards that are very hazardous, such as dragons), and falamats (creatures dealing with any other, such as goblins and orcs). This realm can only be unlocked by the Melcastor (key created by the power of the Nau-Trines) and is neighbored by Kildamor (desert realm), Canosh (cursed realm), the Realm of the Nau-Trines, and the Great Water.Santeria is the human realm, and the capital is Relatann. It is the home to the Ollocronian outlaw named Santeria, lord of war. It was ruled by many depending on time, but at the time of Calamar and Omegacom, it was John MiCartha. The only way to the kingdom was through the Forgotten Path, which gives it a huge protection system. They were the ancestors of the Northern Conquerors, but they hadn't seen them for 5,000 years at least. Santeria is neighbored by the Realm of the Nau-Trines, Canosh (cursed realm), Salmantum (swamp that floods every week), and Nelmard (tundra).Canosh is the cursed realm that is home to the Ollocronian outlaw named Canosh, lord of curses. There were never that many inhabiting this realm, and those that did inhabit it had died in a battle of the past. Those that die in Canosh resurrect a day later and try to kill their own kind. It is neighbored by Santeria (human realm), Realm of the Nau-Trines, Salmantum, Harowfuge, and Kildamor (desert realm).Norteale is the kingdom of the Northern Conquerors. It is home to the 5,000-year-old Ollocronian outlaw named Norteale, lord of traps. This is where the Northern Conquerors were trapped at for 5,000 years and is next to Shardan and the Northern Border Mountains.Kildamor is a desert realm in the world of Malcarra. It is home to the Ollocronian outlaw, Kildamor, lord of pride. It is neighbored by Harowfuge (demonic realm to the south of the continent), Canosh (cursed realm), and Salmantum (swamp that floods every week).Nelmard is the tundra of Malcarra. It is home to the Ollocronian named Nelmard, lord of anger. The land is inhabited with culabrans (creatures adapted to the climate of the tundra that can transform into any form made out of ice) and is neighbored by Santeria (human realm) and Salmantum (swamp which floods every week).Salmantum is the realm that floods every week. It is home to the Ollocronian named Salmantum, lord of sadness. It is also home to the creatures rolh-tren and marlows, which are all types of lizards, such as dragons, snakes, and alligators. The realms neighboring it were Nelmard (tundra), Kildamor (desert realm), Santeria (human realm), and Canosh (cursed realm).Shardan- There were about 36 kings before the time of Calamar and Omegacom, but at the time of these 2 leaders, the world of Malcarra was meeting its end, therefore also the kingdom of Shardan.Realm of the Nau-Trines- There were about 135 kings/queens leading up unto the end of the world of Malcarra. The Nau-Trines had originally made a pact with the 7 Powers of the North, agreeing that the 7 Powers would rule in the north of the continent, and the Nau-Trines would rule in the South. Their lands were separated by the Northern Border Mountains. Unfortunately, many other kingdoms formed in the land of the Nau-Trines, of which they were forced to leave alone.Santeria- There were about 507 leaders leading up from its foundation to the world's end; the first, Orsant Melordon, formed an alliance with the Ollocronian outlaw, Santeria, and together, they formed the kingdom; the last, John MiCartha, was a great ally to Calamar and Omegacom, though he watched as his kingdom fell.Norteale- There were about 229 kings before the time of Calamar and Omegacom (each king reigned at most 25 years), and during their time, there were 2 kings, Lord Kavar and Lord Narkevez. Altogether, there were 231 kings, and their reign ended when they released the armies of Harowfuge. There is no other record of any rulers in Malcarra.
