Than ayey can lay up to 240 per year.they can lay 4 maybe 5 times ayear so how can they lay 240 times ayear rubbish
....African greys. Parrots. What else do you call them?
Simple, female African Grey lays egg, male don't.
No, eggs cannot be fertilized without the contribution of a male.
Yes. As with all birds a male is needed to fertilize the eggs.
Yes actually they will. As a female African grey would also be more attached to a male person. This is true with MOST birds.
parrots can squwark and can be trained to talk. If you want to do this you must say the word you want it to say and no other to it until it can say it. be prepared for this to take a long time.
Our African Grey is about ten years old. We also thought the bird was a male until, about one week ago. She has two eggs now and we don't know how to take them away from her. She's getting very mean because of these eggs. Do we just take them and let nature take it's course or put something else in it's place???? Thank You, Kim---can't wait for an answer
On the whole, no.
Cockatoos are parrots, which are birds, and birds reproduce by laying eggs. A female cockatoo should lay eggs, but there are always reasons why a bird might not lay eggs. If it is a pet, it could be stressed, or the conditions simply may not be right. Alternatively, given that it is very hard to tell the difference between the male and female of many cockatoo species, there is a good chance that it is a male. No male bird lays eggs.
The male African Dwarf Frog will fertalize the eggs when they come out of the female. The eggs will attach to plants or decorations in the aquarium. If the other fish in the tank don't eat the eggs then they will hatch into small tadpoles. The tadpoles will slowly grow into African Dwarf Frogs..
No, not all parrots are girls. If all parrots were girls then there would be no way for them to reproduce and keep the species alive. Male parrots tend to be bigger than the females.
Well, the short answer Is you can’t really tell. But we own a female and we never knew if it was a boy or girl until she was 17 and laid eggs. We always assumed that she was a girl but now we know so if it. starts to lay fertile or infertile eggs then you know. Also you could get a blood test for them
