Consistent training, positive reinforcement, and identifying the root cause of the barking can help reduce your dog's barking. Teaching commands like "quiet" and providing mental and physical stimulation can also help manage excessive barking. Consulting a professional dog trainer or behaviorist may be beneficial for more specific guidance.
well it might my dog when someone opens the door she barks so i guess you have to train them
Its sort of obvious why your dog throws up when he barks. The smell of the outside air attracts the nose to the outside so it tries to climb down the throat and the dog barks then the nose reaches the mouth and hits the hangy thing in your throat and he throws up.....
a Maltese dog is small white and fluffy (and really cute) they do not shed, they are quite lively but they are verry smart so youcan train them easily. They don't bark that much ! the males bark more than the females.. (I HAVE 1 female) Bye xx :)
Yes, you do have to train your dog so that it knows what it should do, which makes it so much more enjoyable to be around in terms of cleanliness and managing its behavior indoors. Training does take patience and knowledge.
This is actually VERY VERY simple to teach a dog. Don't attempt to try and train it this before avout 6 months or it will bark ALL THE TIME. If you have a small dog you need treats and a toy but if you have a big dog usually a toy will do it. What you do is you get them all excited about playing with a toy. after about 2 minutes of waiting the dog might bark. When it barks say speak. Do this for about 30 minutes a day. No less then 15 or the dog will forget. after a week or so get rid of the toy and just tell it to speak. If it does not reply to the command, do it with a toy again for a day or so. If the dog barks when it wants attention, ignore it. It will think that if it barks when not spoken to, it will get attention. DO NOT give it what it wants or it will become very greedy. After about 2 or three weeks of doing this, your dog should bark when told. Hope it works. It worked for all my dogs
You should make sure your neighbor knows and try to keep the apart so neither one of them will get harmed in any way.
Yes so they have some obediance
if they come up and sniff they like you but if they don't then you must have something they like, so you are just like me
Well, you can't really train your dog fast. It takes time to train a dog. You can go to a local animal shelter, and get a video that is free. That help me so much. It trains your dog how to crate train, sit, come to you and to also do all sorts of tricks. Sorry but i forgot the name of it. It talks about dogs health and other things you need to know.
The sound and intensity of the bark, as well as the dog's body position and movement, generally communicate the type of energy the dog has when he/she is barking. For example, a dog that lunges forward, growls then barks, barks in a deep tone, barks loudly, and has his hackles up is most likely expressing assertive, dominant energy. This dog is most likely protecting something that he believes is his. Some dogs can have nervous energy when they bark. Many small dogs do this type of bark. It tends to be high-pitched and quick. Generally, there is not much room between barks for a breath. This dog most likely wants something to happen. Other times this type of bark means that there is something happening and it feels overwhelming to the dog, so he is barking, hoping that he can gain control over the situation.Other dogs can have excited, anxious energy. An example of this is of a dog whose tail wags his whole body, a dog that barks in a high-pitched tone accompanied with a slight whine, and a dog that attempts to jump on the person. This dog is most likely happy to see someone, and this dog wants this person to pay attention to him. This answer was originally answered by Erin Goddard, with Erin's Dog Training, www.erinsdogtraining.com. usually, after a dog drinks water, it drools
I would invest in a bark collar. These collars emit a smell, noise, or shock that startles the animal. These do not hurt the animal in any way, but they are annoying. When a dog barks, they are immediately emitted so the dog will learn soon the barking is bad.
