Gravel in a fish tank should be cleaned regularly, ideally once a month, to remove waste and debris that can harm the fish and affect water quality.
It doesnt really matter if you want it coloured or plain whatever suits your fish tank! :) x
Every week so your fish can feel like their at home.
it will depend on its size (the total litre capacity), how many fish there are, and wether it is a cold water or heated aquarium.
To clean debris that falls in the gravel, you should buy a gravel vacuum available at pet stores. You should use the vacuum during each weekly water change to keep the debris to a minimum and avoid making your fish sick.
with a good enoungh filter and some speicies of loach u should not need to change gravel they also sell vacuums that can clean food and algae out of gravel. hope I helped <3
It means the tank should be cleaned.
A gravel vacuum cleaner is a long rubber tube connected to a larger plastic cylinder that sucks out fish waste and food that are on or below the gravel in a fish tank.
Plastic sunglasses if free of harmful chemicals and cleaned should be fine.
A 3 inch fish should be in at least 5 gallons of water. Regardless of size, they only need to be fed every two to three days, and a small aquarium should be cleaned weekly, larger ones monthly.

They should not turn cloudy. If yours does, then you must be doing something wrong. Is your gravel cleaned properly? Have you allowed more than 1 gallon of water per 1 inch of fish? Is your filter properly cycled and operating efficiently? Is the tank at the right temperature for the species of fish it houses? Have you been replacing at least half of the water weekly? If the answer is "No" to any of those questions, you will have the reason for the cloudyness.
