No. High impact polystyrene is a very hard plastic. If you tried doing a lost-foam casting you'd just make a mess. You make a lost-foam casting by creating a styrofoam model of your finished piece, packing casting sand around it to create a mold, then pouring metal into the mold. When the hot metal touches the foam, it vaporizes. You could make your model out of high impact polystyrene then use that to create a cope and drag mold.

To make a mold for concrete, first, decide on the shape and size of the mold you want. Then, use materials like wood, plastic, or metal to construct the mold. Make sure the mold is sturdy and well-sealed to prevent leakage. You can also use release agents like oil or wax to help the concrete release from the mold easily. Pour the concrete into the mold and let it cure before removing the mold.

To make a cast stone sculpture, begin by creating a model using materials like clay or wax to form the desired shape. Next, make a mold from the model, often using silicone or plaster, which will capture the details. Once the mold is ready, mix cast stone materials—typically a blend of cement, aggregates, and water—and pour it into the mold. After allowing it to cure, you can remove the mold to reveal your finished sculpture, which can then be further refined or painted as desired.
