I don't understand how flamingos could impact human life at all.
FLAMINGOS can eat so diff. from humans. They can fly which is also what a human cant do either.
why are flamingos importat to the enviorment
Flamingos are not cold blooded, I learned this from are you smarter than a fifth grader.
actually humans and flamingos eat frogs
Flamingos help clarify the waters they live in by filter feeding on brine shrimp and blue-green algae
Flamingos live from 20 to 30 years in their natural surroundings. They can survive even longer in captivity. In the wild, flamingos may live as long as 50 years if they are left undisturbed by humans and have enough to eat.
Flamingos have 17 bones in their necks. Humans have only seven.
i'm not sure but base on my studies flamingos eat only the algae.. .. .. ..hope my answer help u :D :'(
Flamingos do not eat humans. They eat a lot of shrimp, also mollusks, plankton, crabs, small fish and insect larvae. They also eat some plants like grass shoots and algae. As to whether they *could* eat a human... I suppose it is possible, but only if someone ground up a human and fed it to a flamingo in tiny, tiny pieces. Which would of course also be gross, unethical, and illegal.
caribbean flamingos predators are jaguars, raccoons, birds of prey, margay, and humans
Flamingos live in areas with shallow water beside lakes and rivers where there are few predators. Their most common predators are birds of prey such as eagles and hawks passing over. The adult flamingos are not in danger from such predators because of their large size, but their chicks are and they must stay near and protect their chicks. The biggest danger to flamingos is loss of habitat due to human encroachment and pollution by humans.
The flamingo has a curved beak to help with food and filtering. They are able to scoop up food with their curved beaks.
