Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England, situated in the Lake District national park, Cumbria. It would be very difficult to make a living on the mountain, but the surrounding area has a few small farms raising sheep, as well as a few hotels and guest houses which would pay a living wage catering for the tourists and hill walkers.
