Platelets help your body repair itself when you get hurt. They cause your blood to clot so that you stop bleeding when you get a cut and If you had no platelets you would bleed to death if you got a cut or scraped your knee if you didn't have them you would die bleeding or get infected and die. platelets work with the white blood cells to keep you healthy they are what form scabs.
by using microbes white blood cells fight
Your white blood cells, they fight off infections and viruses.
- some viruses can be used in biological weapons- some viruses are used in the fight against pests
White blood cells, specifically neutrophils and macrophages, are the main cells that help the body fight against germs and infections. They work by engulfing and destroying pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses, to protect the body from harm.
Body has got immune system. This immune system or the body immunity forms the antibodies to fight the viruses. The immunity against the viruses is usually life long.
Not sure if any bacteria/protists eat viruses, but our white blood cells definitely do. How do you think you fight a cold?
we have white blood cells in our blood with fights off viruses and we then become immune to it, if a new pathogens enters the body then the body needs time to fight it off the new virus
Your body fights communicable diseases through the immune system. White blood cells, such as T cells and B cells, identify and destroy pathogens like bacteria and viruses. The immune response can include producing antibodies, inflammation, and fever to help eliminate the infection.
Because they are like your immune system, they help fight of viruses/germs.
White blood cells defend the body against infection from bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
