How fast do lemurs run?

It depends on the species. Most lemurs move primarily through the trees, so it will depend on the quality of the path through the canopy. Ring-tailed lemurs will run around on the ground, but not for long distances. If startled, they will quickly return to the trees.

I don't think anyone has every clocked their speed, but on the ground they are probably as fast as most healthy dogs and cats.
