This is not the best product to have if you want one that dries fast. When I had once used this particular hairspray it took it over one minute. I was just standing there waiting and waiting. I would never go back to that hairspray. My new one dries in under thirty seconds. That's what I'm talking bout now. This is not the best product to have if you want one that dries fast. To dry hydrangeas using hairspray effectively, first gather fresh hydrangea blooms and remove excess leaves. Hold the blooms upright and spray them evenly with hairspray from a distance of about 12 inches. Hang the blooms upside down in a dry, dark place for 1-2 weeks until they are fully dried. The hairspray helps preserve the color and shape of the hydrangeas during the drying process.
Butane is used in hairspray cans as a propellant to expel the product from the can when the nozzle is pressed down. It also helps to create a fine mist of hairspray for even application and distribution on the hair. Additionally, butane is preferred for its ability to evaporate quickly, which helps the hairspray dry faster once applied.
