The wingspan of an African grey parrot typically ranges from about 18 to 24 inches (46 to 61 cm). This impressive wingspan allows them to be strong fliers, which is essential for their natural habitat in the wild. Their wings are adapted for both gliding and maneuvering through dense forests.
