I can not answer that question appoxmiently by there are ALOT of abandoned dogs. and that's just dogs. think about cats and all those other animals.

Like many abandoned organisms, and predators such as the cheetah, they simply search for food and shelter away from the "pack". However, if they're small infants, then there's a strong chance that the cheetah or another animals will not survive since it has not been taught how to hunt.
