Animals depend on plants to survive because the plants give them a bunch of resources. They might eat them, or make their nests, or beds out of them. Use them for shelter during bad weather, or even as a hideout when hunting.
like, all of them
Plants make oxygen and energy(glucose) which we consume when we eat plants or animals that ate plants.
there are a lot of ways in which animals depend on plants these are, for shelter, for food, for protection against prey etc.

Animals and plants both grow, have a lifespan, needs nutrition, are dependent of air and water (with few exceptions).

Plants and animals are very dependent on each other to be able to survive. Plants take in carbon dioxide from the air which the animals breathed out and turn it into oxygen so the animals can breathe. Also the animals dead bodies provide nutrients to plants while the plants provide food for the animals.
Since animals cannot make their own food they are all ultimately dependent on plants for survival. Some plants could probably get along without animals, but many rely on various species for services like pollination and seed dispersal.
Plants are the building blocks of life. Without plants, animals like vegetarians would starve and the animals that eat the vegetarians would starve and so on. The whole animal kingdom is dependent on plants. So if say plants some how all died, we would be in a lot of trouble.
Animals and Plants are very much dependent on each other, they both NEED each other to survive. Animals help pollinate plants, and the plants would go extinct if the animals didnt do that. Plants also provide nutrients for the animals, they are a part of the animal's diet. so it's the circle of life.
Animals depend on plants for providing food and releasing oxygen into the air. Certain Plants also can change nitrogen into useful compounds and release that into the air. (plants such as clover, peanuts, beans.)
