It can be difficult to tell if a betta fish is dead or just sleeping because they often rest at the bottom of the tank. Look for signs of movement or breathing, such as gill movement or fin twitching, to determine if your betta fish is alive. If you are still unsure, gently nudge the fish or tap on the tank to see if it reacts.
It's probably sleeping and if it still doesn't move it is dead!!:(
Yes I am pretty sure that if it is still breathing it is just sleeping that is what my beta does at night.
Playing games with fish if very diffucult. The best thing to do with your betta is to put your finger on the fish bowl and move it around to see if your betta will follow it. If she does, that means she is hungry. Feed her. Not hungry? Then just talk to your fish, though I must warn you, they might not be very sympathetic. BUBBLES ROCK!!!! EVEN MY DEAD BETTA FISH (Beta, Troy, and Fin) ROCK!!! EVEN MY DEAD GOLDFISH (Max, Elizabeth, and Liz) ROCK!!!!
They look just like Big betta fish, but smaller.
you don't do anything, the fish is dead. if it was a female, they're most likely just her eggs. totally normal. it's possible it was a parasite or something though.
Well, you could touch him, but that's not reccomended. Most likely your fish it dead, or sleeping. I've never heard of a fish playing dead.
Oh, dude, a betta fish against two piranhas? It's like sending a toddler to take on two MMA fighters. The betta fish would be a quick snack for those hungry piranhas. So, the odds? Let's just say they're not in the betta fish's favor.
yes what about the betta fish and mirror?? will it flare or just ignore it?please give details
I think they just can eat fish food. So, i wouldn't feed you betta fish sweet peas. kk
the male betta does, the female just swims away.
Just leave it. If you really want to remove it you can, but it's just a sign of a healthy betta.
All fish do it. If it just opens its mouth and lets out air it is just doing fish things.
