Quakers, or Quaker parrots, can make good pets for the right owner. They are social, intelligent, and can develop strong bonds with their caregivers. However, they are also known for being noisy and can require significant time and attention to thrive. Potential owners should consider their living situation and commitment level before adopting a Quaker.
parrakeets quaker parrots Cockatiels and any Conures
Yes!! If a quaker parrot is taught well and has attention everyday it can learn lots of words/phrases. It is quite common to own a hand reared talking quaker. Their are many people who own a pet quaker that can say around 64 phrases which made around 104 differnet words. The quaker is a very kind parrot that will be nice to humans if raised well. But a quaker can also be territorial if it sees something like a dog, cat a mouse or possibly a fish it can sometimes attack it and trust me it will TAKE IT ON!!! IN MY OPINION THE QUAKER IS A VERY GOOD TALKER AROUND THE 4TH/5TH BEST TALKER but its voice may not be as clear as a cockatoos or a greys. Hope this helped you!!!!!!

No. Quaker Oats registered as the first trademark for a breakfast cereal. The trademark was registered with the U.S. Patent Office as "a figure of a man in 'Quaker garb.'" Both former owners, Henry Seymour and William Heston, claimed to have selected the Quaker name as a symbol of good quality and honest value.
