To care for a betta fish, provide a tank with at least 2.5 gallons of water, a heater to maintain a temperature between 75-80F, and a filter to keep the water clean. Feed them high-quality betta pellets or flakes once or twice a day, and occasionally offer live or frozen foods. Change 25-50 of the water weekly and monitor water parameters regularly. Avoid overfeeding and keep the tank decorations simple to prevent injury.
If the guppies are small enough the Betta will eat them.
no
No Way. Betta's were imported to Europe in the 1890s. It is extremely popular, a must have fish for every aquarist at some stage.
Same way people do!
It really depends on the fish spices. If you have a Betta you should feed it once a day that way you don't kill it. If you have any other fish you should feed it twice a day
Female beta fish are better in this way, they don't fight, allowing you to put them in a tank with each other as well other fish!
Bundle- That way, you could introduce them as "Betta Bundle".
other way around, reptiles and ampibians evolved from fish
No because if a male betta is not atracked to the female they will try to reserve there territory
Not in the same way that people 'burp' but they can and do 'gulp' air.
My two betta fish both died in the autumn, my first one living for two years, my second one living to one year. Is there any way to stop it? Autumn is almost here and I fear for my third betta fish. Please answer! :o
