Many types of animals are caged. Descriptors applicable to them are:
1)the cages are too small 2)they can' breed naturally 3)they deserve to be kept in the wild 4)no one cares about the animals!
for some but others are fine
The beast pits and the prisoners/gladiators were kept down underneath too. But also the stage equipment, the cages for the large animals, and the elevators to raise both animals and men in a spectacular way. There was plumbing of a sort, as there is a story of a gladiator committing suicide in a latrine.
The spca thinks it is cruel to put too many chickens in too small an area or to use too small a cage per bird. Animals require a certain amount of space to live a healthy and happy life. If the space is too small the birds become diseased and there is a lot of unsociable behaviour such as picking and cannibalism.
Zoos in various countries have requirements for animal cages sizes. Minimum is usually around four times the animal's size, but some animals need more room than others to forage or wander about.
They can turn aggressive ( left for a long time - lonely ) If the cage is not cleaned well or left for a long time, the animal them might get diseases If it's too small then the animal won't relax and would feel comfy
Backyard breeders will breed dogs or cats when they are too young and keep breeding them until they die. They often have them in too small of cages and feed them poorly.
obviously, these are animals that are small in size... -wEndy
No, not at all. Tigers are wild animals and they belong in the wild.
small sea animals, and flamingos do......and people do too sometimes....
no it shouldn't because they need too be free
never!! It is cruel and inhuman, even in a human society or shelter they re let out periodically for exercise, but they have no other way to house them, and God bless the people that work there and look after them. Also this separates them from there families which can really affect how they act! so if you have a bird in a tiny cage buy it a bigger one because other wise your just really really cruel Birds shouldn't be kept in a cage either. Birds were born to fly; their flying is like our walking. All animals have the right to be free. Birds are kept in cages all day and do not deserve to be, this is very unfair to the birds having to see birds fly around outside whilst they are stuck in a tiny cage. Birds are good pets but they are supposed to be free in the wild. Although some birds are designed to be pets, though most birds naturally belong in the wild.
