Well If it is that the LEFT is bigger it could be a number of things:
is acting fine. She's spayed, not current with shots, indoor cat who goes outside 2-4 times a week, never had fleas, ticks, or other illness of any kind it might be seizure there is a possibility that the presence of one pupil being bigger than the other is a sign that nueological damage is present.
or:
Head injury: always suspect when the eyes do not dialate simultaneously.
I suggest you have your kitty examined by your vet as soon as possible for a precise diagnosis and treatment as there is definately something going on.
your eye would explode
if you did not have a pupil you wouldn't be able to see light. see light enters as the pupil gets smaller which allows more and more light to come in. and when the pupil gets bigger, then i woul say i Sucked my mommas titis
The pupil would get a prize.
Yes, the amount of light entering the eye is regulated by the pupil. In bright light, the pupil constricts (becomes smaller) to reduce the amount of light entering the eye, while in dim light, the pupil dilates (becomes larger) to allow more light in for better visibility.
The stimulus in the pupil reflex would be light
There might be something wrong with the pupil. It may not be in the right position. I would recommend going to the eye doctor.
My favorite pupil will not be attending class tomorrow.
The black bit in you'r eye is called a pupil, the brown, green or blue bit around you'r pupil is called an iris. When you look into light you'r pupil gets smaller, but when you look into the dark you pupil get bigger. The reason for this is because you'r pupil is where you see out of, so when it is in the light you can see most things because there is a light and when it is dark you'r pupil gets bigger because you need to see more because it is darker and if you'r pupil was small at that time you would find it hare to see.
Too much light would damage the receptor cells in the retina. Too little light wouldn't allow them to work properly. The iris contains a pigment that gives our eyes their nice colour, this protects the retina from getting too much light. A darker iris colour gives more protection. But that isn't flexible enough to cope with constant changes in light intensity.Instead, there is yet another reflex! The iris contains two sets of musclesOne muscle is radial, arranged round the pupil like spokes in a wheel. The other is circular, arranged concentric rings around the pupil. When there is too much light, the pupil is closed down by contracting the circular muscle. When there isn't enough light, the radial muscles in the iris contract, pulling the pupil wider. This lets more light through to the retina.
None. There are no drugs (neither legal or illegal ones) that cause one's pupil color to change, neither when injected or taken any other way.
the pupil itself has the same job as a normal pupil would. It may look alittle diffrent depending on the person's condition. but otherwise no. it does not change
