Among the most noticeable things which are polluting the sea are Chemicals, Litter,Sewerage, Oil, Plastic and Radio active waste. Sea pollution does not only affect the aquatic animals and plants but is also very harmful for humans. This pollution is having adverse effects on the overall Biology of the sea animals. This would also affect the different fishes which we use as Seafood, hence being harmful for health. Due to all the contamination, medicines which use ingredients from the sea would also be affected.the pollution.

What is a deep-sea dump site?

A deep-sea dump site is a designated area in the ocean where waste materials, including industrial, municipal, and sometimes hazardous waste, are disposed of at significant depths. These sites are often located in areas where environmental impact is deemed minimal, but concerns about pollution and ecological consequences persist. The practice raises issues regarding marine biodiversity, potential contamination of ecosystems, and the long-term effects on deep-sea habitats. Many countries have regulations governing deep-sea dumping to mitigate these risks.
