Advantages: Employs people... When garbage is disposed into the water, people are hired to clean it up. Also, it makes it easier for companies to throw away their trash.
Disadvantages:
- Garbage (example: cans/plastic) can kill animals by cutting them, suffocating them, and trapping them so they'll drown.
- When an animal dies, their pray has less to eat, and it dies, then it's pray goes hungry and dies, and the chain continues
- Animals we eat (example:fish) catch sicknesses which they pass to us when we eat them
- When you drink polluted water you can get diseases like: cholera, typhiod fever, diarrhea, and hookworms
- Seafood restaurants have to occationaly shut down due to the loss of fish because of pollution in the water, which also effects the workers (becuase they won't get their pay)
- Water, being the most important resource in life, is being wasted because of pollution.. If we run out of water, everything on earth will die
