Spoiler Alert Cycle of the werewolf was written by Stephen King and was eventually made into a movie. The book was about how a werewolf had come about in a small town. Marty, a young boy of 11 who is bound to a wheelchair, eventually discovers who the werewolf is. Through out the book, the werewolf attacks people every month. Marty ends up hitting the werewolf in the eye with a firework revealing that the werewolf was Reverend Lester Lowe. In the end, Marty convinces his uncle to create 2 silver bullets. Marty ends up blinding and killing the werewolf with the two bullets bringing peace to the small town, Taker's Mills.
The term two-by-two refers to the Noah and the Ark story in the Bible. This story can be found in Genesis, the first book of the Bible, when the Lord told Noah and his family to build an ark to save his people from the future flood of the earth. The Lord spoke of leading the animals two-by-two into the ark that Noah built, with the help of his family. This ark was to be filled with all the animals of the world; one male and one female, for reproduction purposes. The animals came to Noah in two's and entered the ark two-by-two.
Neither of these two creatures actually exist, so what happens is up to the author of the story they appear in. If you want to write a story about werepires (or vampwolves, whatever), go ahead. It can't possibly be worse than Twilight.
According to the biblical flood story, two of every kind of animal went on the ark.
